The Work of Light from Sky to Earth

As Prometheus broke the rules

on behalf of those he loved,

maybe it is a holy work~

Our tasks of sharing light...

~

It is not for us to propagate perfection,

nor to seek it by altered means...

Rather, we are somehow given 

the work of Kindness

and the ordinary task that is blessed 

in our beautiful, simple reach

towards our mysterious God.

~

Whatever trial or suffering is endured,

the intermediary of Light and Beauty

is a secret companion 

for our sacred nourishment and deepened strength.

~

Our tasks are given

as the works of Light... 

Flowing from the Heaven, as a grace of sky

 into the glowing earth.

This landscape of time is in need of Mercy,

and if Kindness would seek to break the rules~

a perfect Completion is found therein.

Bearing its consequence of Light, the ones of Ihsan leave a luminous trace~
